CA doctors who do erny

I really need help trying to find a doctor in Northern California who is experienced in revisions and who does the extended rny. I was trying to see doctor Schlesinger, but my insurance won't cover out of network. I have blueshield netvalue for State employees. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mongique,

Try Dr. Julie Elner (San Diego) and Dr. Alan C. Wittgrove (www.lapbypass.com). Not completely sure if they do the ERNY, but they do a lot of revision surgery for RNY patients.

What exactly is ERNY?
I know RNY just not "E" RNY.

It's an Extended RNY - shorten the common conduit even more (between 50 & 75 cm) which causes more malabsorption and greater weight loss.
