VBG revision to VSG

Has anyone had VBG revised to VSG?

Just wondering if the mesh band and/or staple line made it impossible.

I highly doubt that any doc would switch you to a Sleeve because the mesh and band are a PROBLEM. You have to make sure you have an expert doc for REVISION.

I know a person that wanted this done.  The doctor told her he couldn't promise anything, he'd have to see her stomach before he would know what he could do.  She knew it would either be a band or a sleeve.

She woke up with a band. :o(  The mesh from the previous band was such that he couldn't do a sleeve safely, it compromised the potential staple line.  So it really depends on the scarring and adhesions.
