It is an RnY with a shorter common channel. Very mal-absorptive. There four you're body doesn't absorb as much nutrition or calorie's from your food's. Similar to the intestine part of the DS - like a DS w/o the sleeve. You have a pouch instead, like a regular RnY. You can google it and prob find a picture.

I had a Rny done back in 1997. Never had a bypass to make a shorter common channel. Last Wednesday I had a extenstion done of my RnY . I had 75 cm common channel left in place. But I still have alot of restriction of my pouch bu Dr Schleinger never touches it.
