Does anyone have acid reflux now that they have had a revision?

I am two weeks post op on tomorrow and I have just returned from my family reunion in Washington, D.C. I have never had a problem with acid reflux but I do now. I cant taste anything in my mouth because all I taste is the acid coming up my throat. Has anyone ever experienced this?

I do...and I'm 1 week post op tomorrow. My Doctor put me on Prilosec melt tab and it has started to work good.... Hope this helps.... Chrisitne

I have taken  tagamet  or something like it a few times  - it does seem to get better. Are you  having any gas issue's ??  I am guessing your feeling a little better ??

Yes mam, I am having gas issues. But its not that bad. I just came from my appointment and he said evryhting looked good. The acid reflux is really bothering me. Once I got the appetite to eat , its gone again because of the acid reflux. Oh yeah I forgot to update, 22 lbs lost. Im happy about that but not about the acid reflux.
