Today Was My Formal Consultation With My Surgeon
Today I saw my surgeon for my formal consultation for a revision to RNY. All of my paper work is done and tomorrow I meet with the head of the bariatric program of the hospital for his final OK. I actually signed consent for the surgery to remove my band and to do the RNY. Please wish me luck and pray that the insurance company will approve me quickly. I would hate to go through appeals again, but I will do whatever it takes.

I hope you get a nice smooth approval. My insurance denied then quickly approved my revision to the RNY. My surgery is on June 9th at 7:30 am.
Do you have any idea when you will have your revision? I picked June because of work obligations otherwise I could have had it done early this year.
