Stomaphyx weight update

I am scheduled to have my Stomaphyx procedure on August 22nd. After reading all of these posts, I am a bit dismayed with the results. I had considered the Rose Procedure, but the only place doing it was too far away from where I live. On the plus side, my insuranace (AETNA) is covering the costs.

My insurance is covering my procedure, too. My out of pocket will be a few thousand max. I figured that I'd better jump on this opportunity before the damn insurance companies change their minds like they did with weight loss surgery. I am so lucky taht I had my RNY GB when I did... it got approved with no problem... so did my Stomaphyx.
I have regained only 15lbs of my original weight loss surgery in 2003... but for me that 15lbs made a huge difference. I hope to get down to 160-170 with diet and exercise and the stomaphyx. I will keep you posted. My surgery is on the 26th.
