Revised and losing again!

Hi It occured to me on my weekly weigh-in yesterday that I have now broken a two year long plateau! (Round of applause please!) Sadly, with the lapband I lost in the few weeks after the operation, then only lost again about a year later when it was overfilled (which I immediately put back on when it was unfilled!). I was then precisely 264lbs for sooooooo long... When the band was taken out I put on another 14lbs...and I am pleased to say I have lost all of that in the 3 weeks since the DS plus more. I'm now 260, and can't describe how happy I am to have waved goodbye to that 264 number!  Sounds a bit wussy but I know you'll understand! Sal

Why did you decide on the DS instead of the Bypass? I had surgery in the early 80's but my staple line is undone...Gained all my weight back. My Doctor is waiting for my decision DS vs Bypass. Thanks
