ROSE vs. EROS

Does anyone know the difference between the ROSE and the EROS procedures? Do they also make the stoma smaller, as well as the pouch? Nan-C

Hello Nan,  I think the Rose and EROSE are the same thing..  I'm in a study now for the Rose procedure and 'yes' they do make the stoma and stomach smaller.   If you surf the e-net for "rose procedure" you will find several sites that actually shows a demonstration as to how it's done.  Jeannie

Jeannie, I wasn't aware that EROS and ROSE were the same. I thought it was just another WLS revision, like Stomaphyx. I'm suppose to have the EROS sometime in late April or early May. There's more info out there on ROSE than EROS. Good luck to you. Nan
