Lapband to VSG or RNY? Any regrets

Has anyone had the lapband and had a revision to the vertical sleeve gastrectomy? If so, are you satisfied with the results? Is the weightloss more significant? Why did you convert?

I think I saw you on the VSG board. I am a lapband to sleeve revision. THis is the start of my third week so far and I am losing slowly, but I am at a lower BMI than before banding almost 5 years ago. I am optimistic. I had very late banding complications of dyphagia and pseudoachalasia of the esophagur, a band slip, a too tight band for my original anatomy, a dilated esophagus, and other stuff. So it needed to come out!!!
