Lapband after bypass

Anyone have success with the lapband after gastric bypass because of weight regain and stretched out pouch? This may be the route I may take if my insurance pays. I know the weight loss will be slow but slow is better than none at all. Thanks, Ced

I am having Lap over RNy due to dialated stoma. I am anemic so I need the restrictive WLS not malabsorbtion. My Dr knows I did well with a 0.5-1.0 OZ pouch so he is going to put the Band small enough to make my stomach back to where it was RNY postop and do a cologen fill on my stoma to make it the sizxe of an M&M. If my pouch was bigger it would have gone the VSG route however my pouch is the size of a large egg so there is not enough to work with for a CSG. Hope this helps.

I know of several people that have had success with this revision.  Only thing is.... weight comes off more slowly than you might realize but it does come off.
