I have a surgery date

I am  so happy to say that I have a surgery date for revision from the band to RNY on 6/2/08 I AM SO HAPPY

Hello my name is Cathy. I had surgery for the lap band in 2003. I am going to have a revision to the RNY. My question is how long is the surgery compared to if I was just starting out with the RNY.  Also, what is the recover time and complications.  Thank you. Cathy

Congratulations! I see we have the same surgeon.  I got my revision date last Thursday and I am right behind you.  I will be revised from the lapband to the RNY on June 9, 2008.  Nervous but excited to move forward. Dr. Lautz said I was his 3rd patient last week to ask for a revision, but I reminded him that he suggested it to me back in January. Valerie
