Stomaphyx patients - how are you doing?

My Mom had Stomaphyx done down in Florida on August 8, 2007.  She had her original RNY done in 1998, had lost about 175 pounds after her initial surgery and then gained 100 lbs back over the years. She is now down 60 pounds. We were wondering, how is everyone's weight loss going since their stomaphyx? She just wanted to know if her weight loss is typical. Thanks for the info! Hugs, Lisa

I am scheduled to have stomaphyx on Feb 1st at TUFTS in Boston.  It sounds like your mother had GREAT results, but I really am looking for others to share their stories before mine is done.  What was her diet like?  Does she feel a restriction like with the bypass?  I so want to hear your mother's story!!! From what I have read on this forum, your mother is doing great as far as weight loss goes.
