Had my endoscopy today

My dr said the staples from my VBG (20 years ago) are intact, but the opening where the band is supposed to be is very large. He said converting to lap-band would be easy. BUT, he also said he wasn't sure about insurance, we would just have to submit and wait and see. SO, now I'm worried that insurance won't cover my revision, and then I don't know what I'll do. I don't know, but he didn't seemoverly optimistic. I think he said "you never know". Maybe he was just stressed or something. My appointment was an hour after the scheduled time. I do feel better knowing that the staples are intact, and that I didn't just stretch out my pouch, but I wonder what happened to the band. All these years I thought I was just destined to be fat, because I had already done something so drastic, and failed. Oh, and I gained 5 pounds since last month! WHAT? HOW? Can I blame it on wearing more clothes since we've had a cold snap? I think I'm stressin! Michele
