Another STOMAPHYX Question

It just crossed my mind ......this is probably a dumb question What would happen if  you eat too much after the stomaphyx and the staples burst , where would they go ???? into the stomach ? or elsewhere ?Would they cause a lot of harm if this happened ? Susie x

I was told that if you eat too much or something hard, that the caps can come off, & the fasteners would not likely hold.  As to where they go?  I don't know, but I suspect part of them would stay lodged in the pouch... but the fastener would probably lose it's ability to hold to pouch sections together.  I also wondered if I could know if/whether I popped off one of the caps. I don't know the answer to that either.  I will try very hard to avoid expanding the pouch too much until the adhesions form.  Amy
