LAP BAND over VBG/RNY-what kind of weight loss to expect

Hi guys, I had a vbg/rny in 7/2000 and went from 286 to 145 but started regaining 3 years ago. I'm now 190lbs. I'm scheduled to have the LAP BAND on 7/26. What were your experiences(weight lost-amount of time) with the revision? I heard the weight loss is super slow and therefore I'm begining to feel discouraged already . Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I  had a VBG in /87 and went from 260 down to 113.   Years later my staples separated and in April/06 had a revision to a lapband and love it!   In 15 months I have gone from 251 down to 144 lbs and should reach my goal of 125 by late September.  I liove my band, best $16,000 I ever spent!
