Help!!!!

Hello Everyone, My name is Martha.  I had the vbg w/sleeve with the mesh banding around the sleeve and can't manage to keep anything down.  It's a struggle to keep liquids down and I'm only 5 weeks post opt.  I would like to get the mesh banding removed for some relief, but the surgeon who performed my surgery stated that he will not remove the band until it's been six months.  He gave me a prescription for valium and paxil stating that it will get better.  I thought to myself he's insane.  I've had several tests performed since my surgery.  All of the test show an excessive amount of acid build up as well as bile build up.  I feel miserable.  So, Im seeking a second opinion.  I would love to hear what you guys think.  What would you do? Go get a second opinion and see someone else. For some reason he acts as if he does not want to do surgery on you again although there is a problem. It is your body and you know how you are feeling and you need to do something about it.
