Revision/reversed

I have a friend that needs to have her Bypass reversed.  I hear this is more serious than the original surgery, can you tell me what it entails and what we should expect?  She is currently on food bags and is still not getting enough nutrients.

I had my bypass reversed 4 weeks ago in Houston Texas by Dr. Naaman. She should expect to feel much better instantly. I could not keep even the tiniest bit of water down prior to my reversal. The evening of my surgery they had me drinking gatorade. Prior to my reversal I was malnouished and very dehydrated. The recovery time is a little longer than the first surgery, in my case the surgery was 2 hours and I was in hospital 4 nights. My surgeon though deals with reversals a lot. Make sure your surgeon has done this many times - it brings the risk way down. Debi
