How long does it usually take Gary to overturn a case???
I have retain Gary Viscio in June of 2006. I called my insurer BCBS of Georgia and they said all the information was submitted on July 14 2006.(okay, I got a call saying that it was submitted in June .... makes me a little weary but ...) I have been trying to contact Gary to see my appeal letter. My appeal letter came back to him because of the postal service. I email him my fax number, mom's address and still no response. Is this common with him not to be able to reach him. Do you ever get a live human being at his office. I have been calling for more than three weeks. I hope I didn't lose my money.
I also wanted to know does your employer recieve a copy when a complaint is submitted to BCBS. They are union and I wanted them to see just what they are doing.
I also hired Gary Viscio for an appeal, it cost me 450.00 for him to mail a long winded letter to my BC/BS ppo insurance. You never hear from him either, he would only email me once in a blue moon after I emailed him and asked what was going on with the case, he never even remembered the case.
Save your money and do it yourself, he was no help at all.

I am in the process of appealling with BCBS for a revision from the get go people told me to get a lawyer...I see no point in giving me my money to someone who is going to do the same thing I can do,...and I can do it a lot quicker and I actually know my history better. I have all the policy's from BCBS and I am drafting my letting and making my own arguements. I will fight for 1 person whereas he is fighting for how many? Of course I am not trying to overturn an exclusion or anything...I'm just making BCBS do what their policy states they should do they just like to be buttholes. And as for your employer...you let them know!!! I've already let my benefits administrator know I was appealling a denial...I had to get clarifiation from her on my policy since BCBS was trying to play their games.
