HAd a gastric bypass in 1986 since then had two babies and now have gained back around 60 pounds i'm thinking about a revision would like to know how long is the recovery and what is the outcome.thanks for any information

Have you had any testing done to see if your staple line is still in tact? I had a revision to RNY and have had GREAT success with it! The recovery was about three weeks for me. I would do it again if I ever had to but since they transected my stomach, I feel I am fixed for good!
