Revision due to ulcer

I'm 8 months postop & have been suffering with an ulcer for 4 months. Unfortunately, mediciation has not worked. I'll be having a surgical revision in 2 weeks. Anyone else been through this?

Connie, I am going though this now. I just spent 5 days in the hospital with an upper GI Bleed which was found to be an ulcer where my pouch and bowel connect. I hope everything goes okay for you. I see the surgeon next friday. A new one as mine moved to another state. I will keep you in prayer. Robin

I had this same proiblem, bleeding got so bad I couldnt keep my blood count high enough even after many, many transfusions, ultimately had to have surgery to correct and find it. Surgeons decided in surgery that I needed a reversal to fix it.
