Mex lapband needing revision in Chicago area!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I need immediate help. Does anyone know a surgeon in the Madison Wisconsin or Chicago area who does revision on Mexican lapband patients? Have great ins now but didnt in 2004 when I had the surgery........band is now slipped upward. It is currently at the very top of stomach just laying there...had all saline taken out today but dont know what complications I can still have (was threwing up blood and almost everything that went down) Please leave names of doctors.........and location.

Santiago Horgan in Chicago...old pro and he knows many of the Mexican doctors and is a native Spanish speaker...ought to work. (Rumor has it he is a FAR better surgeon than "charmer.") He's been doing bands--and repairing hte work of others--for YEARS! Sue

BTW--I'm pretty sure that Horgan and Rumbaut (who was MY band doctor) are well-acquainted.

I am having a revision by dr pleatman, bloomfield hills michigan. He not only has done quite a few but I know he is well aquainted with dr. ortiz in mexico. I have your exact same issue with band placement slipping up. take care

Contact Dr. Rumbaut. As he trained many of the US lap-band docs working for Inamed, he can probably recommend somebody.
