Well today is the day, survived week 1! Now for my first blended dinner, what should I have for my first 2-4oz of dinner? I want something yummy for sure, I thought about chicken, corn & tortilla chowder with added protein, then I thought of something with melted cheese in it (bad), I just don't know! I'm an avid cook of all, I cook Chinese, Vietnamese, Italian, Korean, and Thai.
Open to suggestions and I will post pics later!
I'm waiting for my turkey meatloaf to come out of the oven, but it smells great! I made them into minis so i can freeze them for the week. Do you have a favorite or go-to recipe?

Hope this helps those of you like me who have given up pasta post op: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2016/10/weigh t-loss-surgery-friendly-low-carb.html
I am eating more protein so I eat less crap. This means I sometimes eat steak for days - it's far more economical when you only eat 4 ounces. I truly suffer, I tell you....
Anyway, I hate reheating steak so I've been making this. It's amazing. Ponzu is a vaguely citrus japanese sauce. If you want to go vegetarian or save calories, you can make this dish with firm tofu. I often will, after weighting and draining the tofu, slice it thin, top with shredded daikon, and then toss ponzu on top for a fast and low-calorie high protein meal. It's got a lot of salt, but I need more salt apparently, so...
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

A colleague shared with me the website skinnytaste.com. I hadn't heard of it, but it's wonderful! You can search by recipe types (gluten-free, low carb, pressure cooker, slow cooker....) and each recipe has a picture and nutrition info too. I'm thinking of trying the reuben stuffed pork tenderloin (or maybe with chicken instead) this weekend, though I might try to reduce the fat content a bit more.
