I'm not sure what you are looking for specifically but this looks good as a substitute for chocolate cake (although I haven't tried it yet). I would substitute splenda for the whey low to bring the sugar down and avoid having to buy online ingredients. Hope this helps.

Topic: 3 weeks out... I need food ideas!

At this point... I am only able to tolerate egg whites, yogurt, pudding, and applesauce. I do occasionally eat tomato sauce with ricotta cheese (as a soup).

I ventured out and pureed soups...but even that is unsettling for  my EXTREMELY picky grouchy pouch.

Any mushy food ideas for me? Slider foods?

I purchased refried beans... not sure how to incorporate that into a meal though?

I'm so lost. The chart the hospital gave me is SO GENERIC.

Oh, duh.  I completely forgot about the low carb thing.  Eggface and Bariatric Foodie have some really good recipes for sweets and desserts that are low carb.  Sorry...I don't know where else to look for the low carb mix without going online.

I've had the brownie mix and it's quite good, but not low carb by any means. I've heard the cake mix is not very tasty so I haven't tried it. I'm really trying to keep my carbs down to a minimum since I know they could be my downfall. But I don't want to deprive myself of healthy lower carb versions of things I use to love like pasta, etc.

I shop at HEB just a local Texas grocery store.  I've never seen the Atkins mix though.  I know that Pillsbury does sugar free brownie mixes and I think cake mixes too.  Would that work?

Thanks for the reply! Those are actually 2 of the mixes I have been looking for, but unfortunately I haven't been able to find them locally. I've even tried my local Whole Foods in the hopes they would have it. Where do you find yours?

I've heard of people using Atkins low carb mix.  And I've seen this one at my local grocery store.

Bob's Red Mill Low-Carb Baking Mix

I haven't used any of these.  I haven't really baked anything.  What little flour recipes did call for I used spelt flour.  Good luck!

I shred or chop into small pieces the turkey. Then finely chop celery and  hard boiled eggs..quarter  white seedless grapes and toss with low fat mayo.  Salt and Pepper.. I like it and so does my hubby. He doesn't like FF mayo (I dont tell him any different) Its nothing fancy, but good....I am thinking you can add cranberries if you want..."Lucky"

Does anyone have a good turkey and dried cranberry salad recipe?

I like the turkey and cranberry salad that is sold at H.E.B. but they are pricey for that little container.
