Topic: RE: stage 3 blended/puree foods any suggestions?

Hi, I love my veggies and fruits.  So I improvised. My Carrots I boiled, Cauliflower I steamed and my Apples (seasoned with cinnamon and a pinch of Splenda) I baked. Cut all into small pieces and when tender, add butter or whatever you usually add to your veggies. I then put each into my small food processor and chop into small pieces.  I place them into 2 oz containers( Found at Amazon.com) and refrigerate. When ready to eat, I pick 2 of the containers and microwave for 1 minute. Great way to have variation and all are  pre measured.

You can add fresh fruit to it. You can add dry sugar-free jello (any flavor), you can add dry sugar-free pudding (any flavor---but know this will make it thicker). You can add sugar-free crystal light or any drink mix to it also.

Topic: RE: Low Carb Portobello Pizza

It was great. At a local supermarket, I found pizza sauce from my favorite local pizza place in a jar. I used that, along with some really good Boars head pepperoni (after all, we don't use that much anyway). It had the basic falovor profile of the pizza I was missing without all the bad stuff. thank you for the great idea.

Congratulations on your 9th year of blogging.  Your blog has helped me so much.  I've used lots of your recipes, been inspired and kept motivated (my fave - 50 Things To Do Instead Of).

Thanks for all you've done during these past 9 nine years.

Cathy
