4 c cocoa crispies 1/2 c splenda 1/2 steels maple syrup 1/2 peanut butter Bring to boil splenda and steels syrup and boil for one minute stirring constantly. Add peanut butter and stir till creamy. Pour over cereal and still till well mixed. Press into a buttered pan or mini muffin tins. To make this a lower sugar recipe you could use PLAIN RICECRISPIES. Chill in refrigerator to set cookies. Cut into 20 pieces you will have approx 8 carbs and 4.5 sugars just from the cereal. cut into 16 pieces you will have approx 10 carbs and 5.6 sugars just from the ceral. Total carbs will be a bit more with splenda added.

Howdy Linda! I know you from Susan Marias site! Sheryll_Woods on that site. I always enjoy your posts. I made the cookies with the cocoa crispies. They were really tasty too. Next time I'll try them with Rice Crispies for less sugar.

Sheryll, Your recipe sounds great, but i'm afraid of the sugar in the cocoa krispies. Dumping is not pretty. I wonder if I could use plain rice krispies and add 2Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder and 1/4 c Splenda granular...well, shoot, now I have to go make some and see if it works...so much for will power(heheheh). I'll let you know how it turns out
