Preheat the oven to 375 take ground chuck or ground turkey which ever you prefer chop 1 medium onion, chop fresh garlic (I love garlic you can leave this out but it taste really good), saltine crackers crumbled, 1 raw egg, 2 big cans of tomato sauce, mix the meat, onion, garlic, crumbled saltine crackers, raw egg and 1 can of tomato sauce toghether in a bowl. I use my hands to make sure it gets mixed good. I add a greek spice called cavanders you can buy it in the grocery store where you buy your spices. (I put this on and in everything from steak to spaghetti and chili...it is yummy...) Take the other can of tomato sauce and pour on top then place in oven.. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/drhot/cavgreekseas.html (this should be a direct link to what the bottle looks like) Cook for 45 mins to 1 hour depending on how thick you have made it, half way through you might want to take it out of the oven and pour out some of the grease if you see a lot. Take out and enjoy... Kacy D.

I mix with my hands 2-2 1/2 pound of hamburger, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1 egg, and 1 jar Pepper & Onion Relish (I use Harry and David brand). I place on a cookie sheet (I do not cook in a loaf pan) and shape like a football or regular meatloaf shape. I cook at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. I top it generously with bbq sauce for the last 20 minutes or so. This is excellent and so moist! Always gets tons of compliments!
