Unrolled Cabbage Rolls for the Crock Pot

2 lbs ground meat - I used 1 lb lean beef and 1 lb lean turkey 1 large onion, chopped 1 head of cabbage, shredded or chopped 1 - 28 oz. can Concentrated Tomato Puree 1 - 10 oz. can tomato soup 1 - bag sauerkraut 1 - cup rice (I didn't use rice) Brown meat and onion. Mix tomato puree and tomato soup in with meat(mix rice in with this too. In *large crock pot put cabbage in bottom, sprinkle generously with salt. Top with meat/tomato/rice mixture. Cover all with sauerkraut, do not drain. Cook for 8-12 hours on low. Mix well before serving. * if you don't have a large crock pot make sure you boil the cabbage before putting it in the crock pot. You can mix everything together and put all in the crock pot. This is really good!!
