At first, this really caught my attention. But then I wondered how 2 cups of corn starch could result in a low-carb alternative to powdered sugar. I found this information by clicking on the ingredient links on recipes from recipezaar.com. 1 CUP CORNSTARCH: Calories 487 Calories from Fat 0 Amount Per Serving %RDA Total Fat 0.1g 0% Saturated Fat 0.0g 0% Polyunsat. I understand that I may be totally missing something! Thanks for posting the recipe. I don't keep powdered sugar around but I do keep corn starch around, so it is great to have an alternative to powdered sugar! Kathy

The recipe is meant as a sugar-free substitute and NOT low-carb. The benefit to me is that when/if I need powdered sugar I not have a sugar-free substitute.
