Asian Wraps
You know I've not had any chinese or asian food since my surgery because of the sugar they use but I made the most amazing asian wraps last night and had to share my recipe.
I mixed some chopped grilled chicken, rainbow salad, green onion, tomato, crispy chow mein noodles, and a little cheese with some litehouse sesame ginger dressing (about 1 tablespoon). Then I put all of that in a lettuce wrap. It was really really good. Of course you can vary it with whatever veggies you like. The dressing has 7 grams of sugar for two tablespoons.

You can make many good asian food yourself or some thilng at the chinese restaurnats should not have sugar like moo goo gai pan. Or many chinese places have mongolian bar be que where you pick out the raw ingredients and have them stir fry it for you. They only put in whatever condiments you ask for and you watch them cook it. You might try that too. I stay away from fried things and things in a lot of sauce I am not sure about. Our local chinese buffets usually have peel and eat shrimp , moo goo gai pan, and some simple stir fries without a lot of sauce, or here they use cashew chicken sauce which is mostly beef gravy with oyster sauce in it. I am not wild about it but it does not have any sugar.
