Happy Thanksgiving! Anyone have a balsamic on roasted brussels sprouts recipe?
I roast my brussel sproutes all the time. And use dark soy sauce, (you could switch out for balsamic).
It's really simple...
Prep your sprouts, peel off the outer layer and remove the tough bottom bit.
Then slice them in half length ways.
Get a baking tray and coat with a little oil.
Place the sprouuts, flat side down, on the tray.
Drizzle with dark soy/balsamic and place in a prehetaed oven.
Roast for 30/40 minutes at 180 Celsius.
Result.... ABSOLUTELY delicious.
Did you want to use balsamic instead of soy for a gluten intolerance? My girlfriend is a coeliac (and a vegan!) and I didn't realise how restrictive it was on diet until we started dating. Thankfully the internet is a great resource (https://blog.creamchargers.co.uk/substitutes-for-heavy-cream / this has helped loads with free-from dessert recipes, for example) and you can always find someone who has done it before you to give advice.
