When I was cleared I made Eggfaces, Ricotta Bake. It is warm, melting, cheese goodness. Satisfied me.

I'm looking forward to reading the responses. My surgery is schedule Feb 15th. This part of the stage I'm most nervous about. The thought of pureed anything make me queasy

Throw a whole chicken and some seasonings in a crockpot. Add a good amount of broth. Cook all day until falling off the bone tender. Puree and enjoy. After the puree stage this makes perfectly tender and juicy chicken for the soft stage. My hub had RNY and he lived on this.

You can puree anything you like the taste of that is an allowed food. I intend to puree homemade chili and soups in addition to the chicken. I'm sure by the time I have my surgery I will come up with many more things I will want to puree.

I was told that celery, cauliflower and broccoli were no longer allowed on the foods list. I hate carrots and sweet potatoes so those I would not even consider, but what about home made celery soup thats pureed. Or even pureed cauliflower and broccoli soups? I dont understand why these foods would be forbidden, Any Ideas?
