help protein go toos and recipes
I am 2 months post op on the 14th
I have a low budget to buy food and I only do simple recipes.
I like chicken, turkey, tuna, hambuger, I like tacos, and asperagus etc
I eat about 1/4th of a cup maybe a little more depending on the food.
I am always running and I need something I can have on hand that I dont need a microwave for.
I do get the p3 protein packs I like them( there ok right?)
I like chocolate and after a meal I will have maybe, but not all the time a taste of it.
I am not a big cooker but I cook
and I also feed a family of 5
please help me with ideas
things i cant do after the total of 5 weeks in the beginning are, applesauce, eggs, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, soups etc
I would like to know also what I can put protein powder in to make thinks have more protein
oh and I only get in 34oz of water is there anything else I could do to help get it in.
there is a water with protein in it sold online or at GNC i dont remember the name does anyone know?
and also how about a protein bar what kind should I get
My NUT says we need to be below 10g in carbs, fat, sugar and high in fiber and protein I kinda find that hard because one thing might be high and all the rest ok or something ellse is high and the rest ok... its frustrating
