I watch Hungry Girl and she has pasta dishes on there made with tofu shiritake noodles..I found them at SPROUTS near the tofu.  They are absolutely wonderful..They have several noodle types and each one has been great and easy to substitute for the full fat/carb pasta.  My husband cannot even tell the difference !

You're so lucky to like them. I absolutely hated them and threw them out. And I don't throw food out.

I made Pad Thai with the fettucine shaped shiratake noodles and it was great.... The noodles have a good chew to them.  For the recipe you can go here.  I plan to come up with more recipes using this great alternative to pasta.  And for those that don't like the shiratake noodles I would give Dreamfields pasta a try... it has 5g of digestable carbs per serving!

I use them in just about anything I would use pasta in...tonight I used the spaghetti ones and added the frozen broccoli with cheese sauce and it made an awesome dinner!

Do you know if Walmart carries them?

Do you rinse yours, and pat them dry?  I was told that its best to do that first...Ive never tried them and want to soon...I have been wanting tuna noodle casserole for ages, so this would probably work...Do you make chicken and noodles ?  What is your favorite recipes ?

I do..I put them in a strainer and then rinse them two or three times and then pat them dry.  I usually microwave them for a minute and then add them to whatever I am making.  These would be excellent in any type of casserole.  I use them wherever I would use spaghetti noodles.  I make spaghetti, fettuchini, shrimp fettuchini...just about anything.   My favorite is always the shrimp pasta.  I just sautee some veggies and then add my shrimp with a lil spray butter and then add my noodles...always a yummy treat :)
