Are there any WLS cook books?

I have no clue where to look for WLS friendly cook books and was hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.  I would like something that has many TASTY recipes so my family can enjoy them as well and I'm not cooking 2 different meals each day.

Recommendations needed, PLEASE!

Thanks.

Go to your local library. I know theres something like "Weightloss Surgery For Dummies" or do like I do, find WLS friendly recipes online. I've copied & pasted several from here and other sites (credit given to sites) of recipes I'd like to try on www.food.com . I'm in the same boat as you are, I am not making 2 different meals. I had enough of that right after surgery. So make the family my little testers right with me. And if you do a search "Weightloss Friendly Recipes" a ton of stuff comes up. Good luck! Did you start a recipe journal or anything of the sort?  Did you maybe bookmark pages of recipes you like?  My kids like flavorful meals.  We love white wine for cooking and Trader Joe's spices.  If there is anything you can recommend more specifically that would be great.

if you go to  www.amazon.com  and search wls cookbooks or weight loss surgery  you will see some very good titles. you can either buy there or write down the names and get them locally at a book store or library.

I agree... if you go to Amazon, there are several different choices.  I love to cook, so I have all of them!

I have a hungry (and very picky) fiance, and he's liked EVERYTHING I've made from Recipes for Life After Weight Loss Surgery by Margaret Furtado.  He always says, "make something from 'the blue book'!"  (It has a blue cover).  The recipes are simple to make and really, REALLY tasty.

Other favorites:
Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Michele Bontmpo-Saray - the food is a little fancier than in Recipe for Life, but I've made a majority of the recipes and have liked most of them.

Extraordinary Taste by Shannon Owens-Malette - lots of simple recipes that can be on the table quickly.  Has a lot of good suggestions for snack food and food to bring to parties too.

I'm also looking for WLS friendly snacks, post work out snacks, ect.  I'm trying to get back on track as I've gained 25#'s from my medications I am on in the last 3-4 months.  Crazy!!!!!

Any staples you buy to stock up on while on sale?
