Pilsbury Sugar free cake/frosting

I made the Pilbury sugar free chocolate cake mix and frosting last night.  I used applesauce istead of oil to lower the fat and calories.  It was actually very good.. It doesn't taste 100% like the regular ones but it's a nice substitute.  I am going to try the vanilla ones next and use different flavors to flavor up the frosting...I am excited to try the next ones.

I had a few that I hadn't frosted yet...I put what was left over in the microwave for 15 seconds and added just a touch of milk to thin it a bit and what a difference that made...the frosting was so much better!

I am addicted to this stuff!  I also use applesauce instead of oil and egg beaters instead of eggs.  Figure lower the fat/calories any which way to feel less guilty! HaHa  They also have a SF brownie mix, but I have yet to see it in the stores near me .... :(

Where do you find The brownie Mixes around here??? I have done the cakes, but really wants some brownies.

Hi Erica.....I buy mine at Marcs! Less than $2 for the mix and they are so good. I tried making homemade ones many times and they turned out so bad that my dog would smell them and run. I couldn't even get her to eat one! So, I was happy to find these brownies!!

I love the brownies, I used a mini muffin pan, makes perfect mini bite brownies, I tried the cake mix I did cupcakes, it was ok but hurt my pouch go figure...ill stick to the brownies lol. I don't understand why they are so much more expensive then the regular stuff...when there is a sale of course the sugar free never goes on sale grrrr.
