I just tried these and they are sooooo good! I just had to share......
BROWNIES!!!!
This simple brownie recipe uses easy to find ingredients and tastes delicious. Give it a try.
The brownies turn out better when I use my ‘special’ ingredients but I would like everyone to be able to make these; not just folks who have bags of of our Nature Sweet and California Almond Flour.
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
½ cup cocoa powder (Ghiradelli unsweetened cocoa is the best and available in many supermarkets)
¾ cup Splenda granular (even better using ¾ cup Nature Sweet Crystals)
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
½ cup all purpose flour (even better using ¼ cup flour plus ¼ cup almond flour)
Pinch of salt
½ cup chopped walnuts - optional
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Melt butter and cocoa in a small saucepan over low heat stirring until smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl; blend in the sugar substitute and vanilla. Beat in the eggs one at a time until thick and smooth. Stir in flour and salt; fold in nuts. Pour into an 8 inch square that has been lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until slightly firm. Brownies are best when slightly under-baked. Cool before cutting into 2 inch squares.
