I've been making this for a few months. I've served it at dinner parties, lol and no one knows it's made from an avocado base..

2-3 Avocados pitted
1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder. I use unsweetened Hersey's
1TBSP of Vanilla, the real stuff (or SF Dvinci)
1/2 cup sugar

I sweeten mine with Honey or Agave Nectar.  I'll usually throw in some Dvinci SF Almond Flavoring..

Whip avocados till smooth don't over do it. Add cocoa powder mix well, scraping the sides too,  then add the rest of the ingredients. Put In the fridge to chill, then enjoy. The next day this is amazing.

I do mine by hand, there are a few lumps but i don't care. Add 1/2 cup of water and put in the food processor to make it smooth and creamy

Keeps up to 2 weeks or more

Muchos gracias compadre,
I am going to give this a try Joe, but with Spend instead of sugar. I may even try using chocolate shake mix for protein instead of cocoa.

De nada

I thought about adding a scoop of Protein powder to the mix as well. It worked out very well in some brownies i made.

If made with splenda, instead of the 1/2 cup sugar and without added sweetener, the recipe works out to 1,060 calories.  About how many servings do you get?

I think it's about 8 Servings using 2 Avacados

The other variations are just ideas of how to sweeten it.  You can use your favorite sweetener in it.

A friend told me to add 1/2 a cup of water and blend in a food processor to smooth out

I made this tonight, it was very good,  grossed my husband out, but I am ok with that, more for me, he he!!  I used Whey Low Granulator Sugar Substitute, I  needed to add about another 1/4 cup sweetner to get it to a taste I liked.  I may have put in too much vanilla, plus it was the end of the bottle....I also might have gotten in a tad more than 1/2 cup cocoa.

Very Rich,  really chocolaty, it is so odd, the avocado seems to just disappear, it does have a mousse consistency.  I used my Magic Bullet, put in 1/4 c water, then the avocados and rest of the incredients and topped with 1/4 cup more water.  Blended teil smooth... Yummo  Must be good for us,  Lots of Antioxidants, Fiber and MUFAS!  I measured out about 1/8 of the recipe  and I probably will not eat the whole amount at one sitting, quite filling!

Whoever thought this up wa a genius! Tastes good and is good for us!

Thanks for sharing!

PS Congratulations, you are rockin your sleeve!
