you are still pretty early out only a lil over a month! give your body a chance to catch up. i know we all get impatient when it comes to food stages but im almost 6 months out and still cant do chicken! the only fish i eat is tuna salad, shrimp and crab. the tuna i was able to eat early on super pureed with a lil bit of mayo. but the shrimp and crab i'd say i couldnt tolerate till about 2 months ago.  take it slow maybe your pouch just isnt ready for them yet. wait a week or so and try again. just bc u cant tolerate it right now doesnt mean u wont be able to in a few weeks. chicken can be rather dry especially if u go with the white meat have you tried dark meat? i have heard cooking it in a crock pot helps with the moisture

Yep...a crockpot is the best.  Turns almost anything into moist and tender bits of goodness.  I'm not much of a fish person but I do get shrimp now and then.  Pretty much just the pre-cooked kind in the fresh seafood section.  I think cooking can make them chewy.  Scallops are good just pan seared in a bit of butter and garlic.  maybe some fresh ginger.

Chicken may be too much right now so don't worry about eating it if you can't.  I do well with beef, but no hamberger.  I like doing a big roast in the crockpot with some mushroom soup mix, onion soup mix, and some veggies.  Makes a good pot roast.  The meat is VERY tender after 6-8 hours and you can pull it apart with a fork.

Some people do well with pork and ham.  I love cooking a boneless ham and snacking on it all week.  And don't forget eggs.

I'm early out still too...a little over two months...theres alot I can't tolerate at all. I ate chicken the other day...took about 4 bites of it and then it started to make me sick. Just too soon to try it I guess. But you could fix it like I did...I got Chicken breast and bbq sauce of my choice and crockpot it. Turned out really moist and soft. Maybe you could try this when you're able to try again. But I agree with others...Maybe you should just give it a little more time...believe me, I'm like you...I'm sick of the other foods lol

Try ground chicken or ground turkey meat.  You can make chili, meatballs or a small meat loaf with it.  I still love meatballs and loaf.  Sooooo good.   Someone here turned me on to KFC chicken legs, minus the skin.  They are usually very moist.  Just make sure you chew chew chew.  Also meatballs can be combined with different sauces for a different flavor.

It took a while for fish to settle right on my tummy.  And I can still only eat certain type, flaked tuna, Basa, Tilapia, some cat, no salmon.

Good luck.

I wasn't able to eat chicken til about 4 months, could eat some tuna or light fish at about 2 months (1-2 oz)   Start with some Rotiserre chicken, it is nice and moist.  small amounts and chew well. Sauce or broth help it go down, and chew chew chew!

I was on pretty soft stuff for the first 3 months.  Like someone said, try some ground meats, maybe meatballs with Marinara.  Ricotta with marinara.  Can you do Tuna or Egg salad.  use some Greek Yoghurt to add some moisture?

Have you checked out the bariatriceating.com or eggfaces Blog, http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/  ?  Lots of ideas there.  Love the Egg dishes.

Try the Cheesy Bites  http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2009/08/chees y-bites.html

Good Luck
