Please list some books that you have found helpful including recipes and general health after bariatric surgery. THee actually a few out there, and I am not sure which one would be a good one to try. Id like recipes I can feed everyone in the fam, tips and information regarding why certain things work adn certain things dont.

I like the "Clean Eating" books.  Forget the author but she has an updated one out.  Healthy recipees and you can modify them a bit.  Unfortunately, a lot of the recipees I've seen posted just don't sound good to me.  Searching the Internet is the best way.  Find something that sounds possible and maybe change things up a bit.  Also, go to Borders, etc. and look at their bargain selections.

Before and After by Susan Maria Leach
I also like the website bariatriceating.com
Amazon.com has a number of bariatric cook books.

Play with favorite recipes that you like, take out the sugars and reduce the fats.. I bet you will find they taste even better.

Check out  nutritionaldata.com  you can enter your own recipes and get the nutritional info, and then tweek the recipe if need be.  I'm also a HUGE fan of recipezarr.com.  They have a recipe for everything under the sun.  They are also rated by others who have tried the recipe.  Good luck.
