I am in Canada and can't seem to find greek style yogurt anywhere - is there an alternate ingredient I can use to replace the greek yogurt?
I am browsing the recipes... you may have found your solutions by now.
I am in Canada (Ottawa ON).  The Liberte brand now carries greek style yogurt.
I have found it at some health food stores and at Farm Boy ( a local chain).

I was so excited to try these, but was disappointed....I found it too have too much of an artificial sweetener taste....Do you think they would turn out if i reduced the amount of Splenda???

I'm sorry...I hate that when you are all set for something.

They may be too bitter with the cocoa powder, but it's worth a try.  If all else they could be rolled in sweetener - like the powdered Whey Low or powdered Nature Sweet (maltitol) if they need more sweetness.

I really don't care for the Splenda taste, either...at times I will use the Whey Low only, and that is really good.  Adds a few more calories, though.  I did find that the longer they sit (days) they lose the strong artificial aftertaste.

I also did it with Agave, and that worked really well - more calories and could cause dumping in some RNY'ers, but REALLY rich!
