This is so good...Normally everyone eats pork and kraut. well here is one for you to try...Tired of just plain chicken???
chicken breast(s) (skinless, boneless)
salt/pepper to taste...
bake breast(s) for 30 mins......at 375 degrees
top each with a heaping spoon (whatever you like) with kraut (do not drain)
return to oven for about 15 mins..
remove again, top with 2 tbl. or more,Thousand Island Dressing (I make my own..FF Mayo, relish and alittle ketchup)
return to oven for about 10 mins.remove once again and top with Swiss Cheese (use whatever kind of cheese you like) return to oven and what until the cheeses melts...I then turn the broiler on to brown the tops for about 3 mins.
These are fantastic...
I make these about 3 times a month...

I miss the real Ruben Sandwiches...So this recipes brings it all home for me...Without the bread......Hope you like it...It is really good reheated too...Lucky
