Protein shakes
I'm still less that one week out and finding so incredibly difficult to drink ANYTHING nevermind 60-80g of protein. My mother bought me the Nectar powder in Lemon Iced Tea and Fuzzy Navel. I've tried to get them down but they make me want to throw up.
Does anyone know of any shake recipies using these flavors that help them taste a little better?

I WILL DO THIS!!!
I WILL DO THIS!!!
The key to all protein powders is to keep playing with them...
Do you like Iced tea? If not, chances are you're never going to like the Nectar Iced Tea.... LOL. That being said, I found it super cheap once and bought it. Not one to waste money I then had to figure out a way to drink the bloody stuff. For me, what worked was Nestle Summer Peach iced tea.
I mix all of the nectars with a complimentary crystal light type drink, in 2 cups of water, and drink COLD. I've also been told that it helps a bit if you make it ahead of time and let it sit in the fridge overnight.
For the fuzzy navel, I like south beach tropical breeze, CL strawberry-orange-banana, or CL early rise... Think something that works well with orange/peach... Davinci syrups are also your friend!
good luck and keep at it!

Katie,
Try this link and see if there is any recipe on it that will help. http://www.barixclinicsstore.com/fuzzynavel_recipes.html. They have recipes for a few other Nectar flavors as well, but not the iced tea. I like the Fuzzy Navel myself, but couldn't stand the Iced Tea. I LOVE the Chocolate Truffle. Good luck, hopefully you will find one of the recipes that you love. I know how hard it is to drink something that you just can't stand. Hang in there and keep trying other flavors and brands. Maybe your mom bought these from a retailer that will take them back if you don't like it, a lot of them will. If she did, take it back and try another flavor. When you finally find one you love, and I really hope that you do, it will be a lot easier to meet your protein goals. I know at a week out it all seems a little daunting, but soon, you'll get the hang of things and it will all work out.
Good luck and congratulations on starting your new life!
Sandy
