I need a menu. Please can someone send me one. I know I am just plain lazy. I always make a menu and a grocery list for Thanksgiving, but this year I have a feeling my menu is not going to be OK for me so someone has done this and doesn't mind letting me copy please send it to me.  Thanks in advance

Kind of hard for someone else to provide a menu...there are lots and lots of things you can have, just a little of this and a little of that.  If your family wants more traditional food, you can add the extra stuff on end of list.  It all depends on how many people are in your family and their willingness to eat what you make/eat.  There are also lots of recipes on Linda's website and throughout this website for lite and/or sugar free desserts and other items.

When I was on South Beach...I made
Turkey, of course
Cauliflower dressing (made from George Stella's recipe)
Cranberry Relish (the fresh kind with berries/orange/apple/Splenda
No sugar added pumpkin pie (made with pure pumpkin using Libby's recipe with Splenda instead of sugar)
Waldorf salad (George Stella's recipe)
Whole wheat or sourdough rolls

For the family?
Mashed potatoes
turkey gravy
regular dressing (cornbread or oyster)

Good luck

Ok here way below is what I grew up eating. My whole family would chip in and cook something and useually eat and continue to eat for what seems like ever. LOL. Thank god for freezers! LOL. Now when we don't travel we just have turkey, stuffing, pickles, olives, mac & cheese, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and pie (I think I made sf pumpkin and sf cheesecake last year). Much smaller for a small family. I hope this gives you some ideas. Christine (internetnut)

cranberry sauce (jellied & whole)
mashed potatoes w/gravy
mashed squash
mashed sweet potatoes
stuffing (stove top & homemade)
mac & cheese
turkey
scalloped corn
pickles (dill, sweet, bread & butter)
olives (green & black)
green bean casserole
broccoli casserole
fresh carrots & broccoli w/dips
pies (pumpkin, cherry, apple, vanilla)
pumpkin cake

Just for this one day, I dont eat any different than the rest of my family. Well, Christmas Dinner, too! Just much smaller portions. :)

Since I am the only one that can't eat a lot of the traditional foods I make for turkey day, I am not changing the menu one bit. There will be turkey, stuffing, candied sweets, cheese potatoes, green bean casserole, three corn casserole, squash, gravy, rolls, cranberry sauce, olive/pickle relish tray and chicken soup with matzoh balls. I know I can eat turkey so I'm good togo. If I want anything else it will be just very small bits.
