I found this in Woman's World magazine. I love iced latte's so I'd like to try this over ice and thought this might be useful to everyone. Christine (internetnut)

1. Pick the right blend! Use a full flavored coffee like Starbucks' espresso roast. It will still taste bold when mixed with milk. Tip: Coffeemaker have a cone shaped filter? Your beans should be ground more finey.

2. Use the magic ratio! It's 2 Tbl. ground coffee for every 6oz cold filtered water. That'll yield a robust brew that won't be bitter. Tip: Like your latte a bit weak? Brew it as above, then dilute with ho****er.

3. Warm the milk! Microwave it just until boiling, about a minute, checking at 15 second intervals so it doesn't boil over! Tip: If you like a foamy top, use skim milk-it's high protein content yields a frothier head!

4. Pour the perfect cup! Slowly pour 3oz milk into 3oz coffee (adjust for different sized cups). Tip: Like it sweet? Add sugar to the coffee before the milk, since it's the coffee that needs sweetening.

To keep beans fresh store in an airtight container at room temperature. Storing coffee in the refrigerator or freezer can cause the beans to get moist from condensation.

I guess this is for those that don't have an espresso machine at home.  I have tried it with the microwave milk recipe and I was not fond of it at all.  I guess I'm just too used to having the machine but thought I'd give this a try since it's quicker than frothing the milk with my machine.

When I make an iced latte, I just use my hot espresso so if you follow her instructions above, just use the same hot coffee.  I just put a lot of ice in my glass.  Pour the espresso mixed with the syrup or sweetener over the ice then top it with milk.
