xpost Cream of tomato soup or any other cream soups
I'm in the full liquid stage of my diet and my doctor said I could have cream soups. He suggested the Healthy Choice/low fat soups. That's fine with me but the only thing I can find is the cream of chicken and the cream of mushroom. Anyone have any good recipes for any other cream soups that are WLS friendly?

Oh yuck, those are cream of crap.
Seriously, you can make a great soup for yourself and freeze it.
Just look up recipes for making your own chicken stock or beef stock. Seriously a beef bone is dirt cheap then then freeze it in ice cube trays.
I have bags of veggie/beef soups in my fridge. For my husband and girls I just cook up a batch of rice/noodle/barley etc. and toss that into theirs after I've heated up my portion.
I love to serve this with crackers/baked Pita bread etc. for my family. Top soup with grated fresh parmesan for everyone!
Start yourself off right and leave out as many preservaties as possible. You will notice the difference.

This is what I do. Boil a pot of broccoli florets until tender. Then I put them in the blender a little at a time with some 2% milk and puree until liquid. When all done I put that back in the pot and cut up a small block of velveeta and add to the liquid and warm until cheese is melted. I also add salt and pepper to taste. This is so good and filling and you get a little protein.
This is a great Cream of Tomato soup. Which is fortunate given all the tomatos in the Farmer's Market right now.
