Hello Everyone!
Looking for ideas for quick and easy breakfasts. It takes me about 7 minutes to make a protein shake or scramble some eggs, but i'm getting sick of them!

What do you guys do that doesn't take a ton of time?

Thanks!
Michelle

This is my breakfast routine.  You prob will have to be further out for some of these things.  I just try and keep it easy and quick myself since I work full time.
1.  Oatmeal.  I love the low sugar cream kind & 2 strips of turkey bacon
2.  1 Whole Wheat Waffel with sf syrup & 2 strips turkey bacon
3.  Cherrios w ff milk
4.  Egg scrambled with cheese wrapped up in low carb tortilla w/ salsa
5.  Breakfast casserole
6. Instant grits & 2 strips of turkey bacon

usually once a week we have breakfast for supper.  If we have the usual scrambled eggs I do some extra so I can have my breakfast wrap.  But I do make a breakfast casserole that has eggs, turkey sausage or bacon, cheese and you bake it.  It is great left over.  I also fry a whole pack of turkey bacon and that way I have enough for usually 8 days to have two strips along with my breakfast to get some added protein.
Hope this helps

If you are willing to share the Breakfast casserole I would love to try that recipe.

Sure!

I take a casserole dish and spray good with Pam.  Then grate about 8oz of cheese. I love extra sharp but use whatever kind you like.  Spread that along bottom of dish.  Then crack about 6 eggs and whisk.  I add salt  & pepper then about 1/4 cup skim milk.  Pour this over your cheese mixture.  Bake at 350 degress (preheated oven****il set.  About 30 min.  I add all kinds of extras to this also.  I will brown some sausge, or crumble up some bacon or either add cut up link sausage.  Also veggies, jalepenos, olives pretty much whatever I am in the mood for.  This is also wonderful the next day preheated.
Enjoy!

Make some of the eggface bites, they are like a crust-less quiche.

I took her idea and put whatever I have around into them.

My fav is Eggs, cheese, ham, mushrooms and onions. I cook the onions and mushrooms then add them to the eggs and cheese with a dash of milk salt & pepper. I bake them in a silicone muffin pan till they are almost golden. I freeze them and nuke...

YUM !  I have made ground turkey with spinach and Monterrey jack ... but you can do anything !

I will confess that sometimes I only have protein coffee, I don't use a mixer since the powder I use will mix with a spoon. I use GNC 100% Whey, most of the time the chocolate or chocolate Carmel and add it to my am coffee it only takes seconds to mix with a spoon.

I've always had trouble eating breakfast in the morning but I know that I have to get some protein in.

What works for me is Matrix Hot Chocolate Protein Drink.  I get it from bariatriceating.com.

It's easy to prepare..just add some COLD water in the bottom of a large mug and add one scoop of the chocolate protein powder  into the water, stirring well with a small whisk that I bought just for that.

Here is where I diversify:  I also add one scoop of instant skim(fat free) milk powder.  This doubles the protein count.  Mix well then slowly add HO****er (not boiling or the stuff curdles) and mix well.

I don't drink coffee at all and this warm drink always seems to soothe my pouch and that way I can start my day with a good dose of protein (and my supplement pills) and I don't have to deal with making myself gag down solids.

It's quick, easy to prepare and easy to drink. That's MY breakfast every morning.

And when we travel,  I prepare dozens of small SNACK-sized ziplock baggies, ( usually two baggies per day away in case I want a hot chocolate before bedtime in the evening too...and if I don't use them all, there's no waste..I just bring them back home and use them up there).

Each  baggie is filled with one scoop of instant milk powder and one scoop of hot chocolate protein powder.......I take my big mug, my small whisk and a small  electric travel kettle and it is so easy to make my hot chocolate breakfast each morning.  And if I don't get enough protein while we are on the road, there's always some extra baggies filled with instant protein to supplement my intake.
