I've yet to find a recipe for a shake that I like but I've only been drinking pre-made ones.

Can you all share some of your recipes with me?  Also, what is the best type of protein powder to buy or does it matter?

Thanks!

My favorite and a favorite of my group:
1 scoop Click Expresso Powder
1 cup skim milk or 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 pkg Splenda (individual serving)
Blend together and top with a squirt of whipped cream from the can. Yummy!!!

I bought a variety pack from Bariatric Eating.com and sipped my way through that. Ny the time I was finished with them I had a better feel for what I liked and didn't feel like I was gambling away my hard earned cash on something I may or may not like.

My favorite so far is Click espresso mix but it does have caffeine. In the early days I'd suggest a decaf imitation of this - Decaf Coffee with splenda some sugar free coffee creamer (or one of the many flavors of sf syrups that are out there) and a scoop of chocolate protein powder (Pure Protein is my favorite). Blend it all up in either a shaker cup or blender and enjoy it either hot or cold.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I finally experimented enough that I found a favorite (for now)! I actually got it off of Eggface's website! She is so wonderful!!
Anyway I mix the following and I use the blender ball shaker so I fill this sucker! You can always cut the recipe in half if it's easier.

1 cup milk; 1 cup water; 1 tablespoon of sf dry chocolate pudding mix; 2 scoops of my whey protein (56g); ice. I also add about 2 tablespoons of SF torino's white chocolate syrup. I also like to top it off with ground cinnamon. Fantastic!!

By the way, I found all the SF Syrups at the World Market!! They had a whole shelf full of these amazing syrups!!

Hi!  I use the Nectar Protein powder in Chocolate Truffle.  I make a shake with one cup of milk, one scoop of the protein powder and a Tablespoon of PB2 with some ice.  I blend it all up in my Magic Bullet or blender.  Yum!  Tastes just like a peanut butter cup.
Hope that you find some great recipes!
