For those of you who watch carbs like I do, here is an excellent option for you.  Check out www.julianbakery.com   They have 2 different low carb breads that I recently tried.  1st is smart carb #1, it has 1 net carb per slice, and a whoppin 12 g. of protein per slice.  the 2nd is smart carb #2 , which is a cinnamon, almond, raisin bread with 3 net carbs and 16 g. protein per slice.  Both breads taste great and have given me the option of sandwiches, which personally ive not eatin in 10 months since surgery.  The one drawnback is the price.  The most cost effective way to order is to buy at least 6 loaves and take advantage of the flat rate 2 day shipping.  If you do that , it will cost about 60 bucks for 6 loaves.  Seems high, but for me, I rolled the dice, took a chance, and could not be happier.  Hope this helps for anyone who has looking for a new addition to their diet.

I'm lucky I can find it locally.  I love it with 1 Tbsp PB .... gives me about 20gr protein and is a great way to start my day.  I prefer it toasted...  I do  buy severl loaves and freeze it as the store is out of my way.
