Ziploc Omelet

Crack 2 large or extra-large eggs into Ziploc bag and shake.
Add your choice of ingredients such as:  cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, etc.
Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.

Place bag into rapidly boiling water for 13 minutes.

Open bag and the omelet will roll out easily.

I read some where that you can get toxins from the plastic bag because the boiling water breaks down the plastic. So, I did some research and found a site that suggested using Ziplock Zip and Steam bags. I made an omelet in one this morning and its awesome! The Zip and steam bags are made for extreme heat where ziplock bags arent. Only takes 2 min in the microwave :)
Thanks for the idea.

Thanks for the info, Kim.  I guess I will go out and buy some steam bags.

I did 1 1/2 mins and it was way too long....I would say 1 min....you will just have to play with your microwave
