Roasted Edamame

Does anyone have a recipe for Roasted Edamame?

I want to be able to use it at work as a snack food, and thought roasted would be the way to go.

I will be using the frozen seeds, no pod.

I found this recipe but have not tried it yet (I don't know where I can find edamame in Chile?)

SERVES 3 (change servings and units)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In small bowl, stir together oil, basil, chili powder, onion salt, cumin, paprika and black pepper.
  3. Drizzle mixture over soybeans and toss to coat well.
  4. Arrange beans in a single layer in a shallow baking dish.
  5. Roast, uncovered, for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once, until soybeans begin to brown.
  6. Serve hot as a vegetable side dish or cooled as a snack.
  7. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Hi Hassett, do you have The Bulk Barn down east??  I buy dry roasted soybeans from there all of the time.  You can add seasonings if you wish.  Patti K.

I just bought some at costco they are dry rosted they are great 1/4 of a cup is 130 calories and 4g of fat 14grams of protein. The name is seapoint farms dry roasted edamame lightly salted if you dont have a costco may be you could find then online hope this helped.
